Terri Ryder

Terri attended schools in Jackson from elementary through her high school years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. Terri taught in Aiken County schools for 32 years in first grade and kindergarten.

As Children’s Ministry Director, Terri plans activities and lessons for toddlers through fifth grade students for our Children’s Church and JAM, where she also teaches. She directs Vacation Bible School. Terri serves as the volunteer coordinator for all Children’s Ministry areas. Terri loves working with children and seeing them grow in their faith.

Terri has been a member of First Baptist Church Jackson for 54 years. She loves our church and the community. She believes that our mission field is right outside the door. Terri’s favorite verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

Terri is married to Alan and has one daughter, Ella. They live in Aiken.
